Sometimes it's music, games, or speakers that will be interesting, especially to older people, like history. They have daily activities, five days a week. They have some private rooms, but those were usually for the very ill. It's clean and the rooms were a good size.
If you are not able to, they will put you in a wheelchair and make sure you can get out there. There were four different gardens where you could go out and sit. I found the staff at Lakewood to be very caring, loving, and very attentive. Medicine is always on time and they try to check my sugars. I think for what you're getting, the price is fair. Sometimes they bring a group that puts on a little singing concert for them, especially at Christmas time and stuff. They clean the floors and bathrooms every single day. There's always juice, soda, iced water, coffee, and tea available. If you didn't like something, they could try to find something that they could substitute with. Each section has its own little kitchen to do snacks. For breakfast, you could have oatmeal or cream of wheat or cold cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. There was a good variety and you had a choice. I actually stayed there and didn't have a problem with it. Schupf Art Center, including The Concourse, Head of Falls, and the City Hall parking lot, which is available on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays. Two-hour parking is also available on Main Street before 5:00pm and is unlimited in the evening and on weekends. Ticket scammers are on the rise!
